Our dance band was the BEST of the best in the San Francisco Bay area, but in 2018 we made the decision to retire our dance band. We currently provide wedding ceremony music and background music for weddings, corporate events and private parties with the same level of excellence. Although we now focus on background type music, we are still the same great musicians so we have included some of the rave reviews of our dance band in addition to comments about our ceremony and background music.
Bride’s Magazine listed Steve Ezzo & The Monterey Bay All-Stars as one of the top 5 Highest Rated Wedding Bands in Northern California! There are over 66 five-star reviews posted by couples on Wedding Wire and we have been voted in the top 5% of wedding vendors in the country for 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. “They were unequivocally the best part of our wedding and also the best value too. During the reception the band ROCKED the Holman Ranch barn. Everyone was dancing from 2 year old kids to an 80 year old Italian grandfather to 60 year old Chinese women. This is how awesome they were. The band members were consummate professionals. I could not imagine the day without them there. With so many wedding vendors inflating prices, it’s great to see how much value you can still get. “My wife gave me very few responsibilities for this wedding, but one big one was to take care of the music. Ann was our contact person and handles all the logistics for the band. She was awesome in following up with us periodically throughout the wedding planning process, all of which was to ensure everything ran like a well-oiled machine, and it did. She was able to prepare a package that fit our needs and was able to provide as much or as little as we needed. I also appreciated that Ann offered and recommended additional services as needed, but was never pushy about it like some vendors can be. Steve provided mics and sound for the ceremony, background recorded music for the cocktail hour, and a band for our reception, as well as MC’ing services for the reception. Everything was flawless. People came up to us all night thanking us for the live band and telling us how much they enjoyed the music and dancing.
